Pash5

A rustic old farm in the South Bohemian countryside.

Come work, rest, help out, or just be somewhere real.

The place

An old farm,
slowly coming back to life.

Pash5 is a half-hectare farm in the tiny hamlet of Pašovice, tucked into the South Bohemian countryside where the Vltava winds through the hills. Stone walls, wooden beams, buildings from different eras — each part of the place has its own story, most of which we’re still piecing together.

We’re bringing it back, slowly and with our hands. There’s a plethora of things to get on with — garden, buildings, big ideas and small ones. We’d love company. Whether you’re coming to work remotely in peace, lend a hand with something, or simply need to be somewhere green and quiet for a while — you’re welcome here.

This isn’t a holiday rental. It’s a place being shared with people we know and trust. Get in touch and we’ll figure out the details together.

Wifi

Works brilliantly (the one thing that does)

Sleeping

Bring a tent, hammock, or campervan

Kitchen

Wood burner + gas stove, table & sofa

Water

Well in the garden, pump & hose

Bathroom

Compost toilet, battery-powered shower

Parking

Space for campervans & cars

Pash5 is close to nature in the most literal sense — no running water indoors (yet), no flushing toilet, no sewage system. It suits people who don’t need a daily hot shower and don’t mind the edges being a bit rough. If that’s you, you’ll love it.

Neighbours

The wildlife situation.

Swallows

Deer

Woodpeckers

Foxes

Hares

Swallows nest in the stables every year. Woodpeckers work the trees. Foxes, deer and hares pass through the garden. It’s that kind of place.

From above

Half a hectare
of countryside.

Two main buildings, stables, and a lot of green space. This aerial gives you a sense of the scale — and how tucked away it is.

Getting around

What’s nearby.

South Bohemia is genuinely beautiful. The farm is well placed for swimming, cycling, hiking, and dipping into some lovely old towns.

Vltava River

Right in the village. One of the most beautiful rivers in Central Europe.

Vltava river scene with old military construction and a white dog walking in the shallows

Doubrava Pub

Traditional local Czech pub. Best reached by bike but an easy stroll too.

Two River Confluence

Where the Vltava and Lužnice rivers meet. An ancient highway junction, now a beautiful spot for kayakers and cyclists.

Týn nad Vltavou

Supermarkets, pharmacy, bus connections from Prague, Tábor and České Budějovice.

Bechýně

Beautiful historic town and the Bechyně Ferrata. Take a little romantic train from Tábor and bring your bike to cycle the last leg along the Lužnice river to Pash5.

Tábor

Train station, Jordan lake, Lužnice river, old town and lots of social events. Departure point for the little train to Bechyně.

České Budějovice

Regional capital. Train & bus connections. Beautiful old square.

How it works

Come and stay.

Pash5 is shared by arrangement — get in touch and we’ll work out the details. There’s no fixed cost, no booking system. It’s a community space for people we know.
